What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?
As a child growing up, my favorite season was always the autumn season marked by the turning of the tree leaves. That coupled with the macabre holiday decorations; which could only mean one thing for a child: the prospect of dressing up in cool looking costumes and going door-to-door in search of free candy. “Trick-or-treat!” 🦇 ☺
Back then, the autumn season was also marked by Harvest Days Celebrations and countless State & County Fairs. I always wished that these festivities would go on forever!
“Be careful what you wish for, boy!” is what they used to say to me as a child. “‘Cuz you might just get it!” . . . Even the phrase “get IT!” was quite noire in them days.
e.g., “You’ll ‘get IT’ just as soon as we get home, ¡Cabrón Chingao!” 😂
And, yes, it’s true that I was born in the fall, just not last fall! 🤣
However, seasons change; and so do we. Some of us even live long enough to reach maturity . . . but most of us do not!

As for me — for good effect; or for bad effect — as a direct result of all the “New [Ab]normal” and draconian changes that have been foisted upon the spineless masses since the start of 2020 A.D., I have come to regret my haphazard childhood wish that someone, anyone would ban all other American Holly•days [sic.] and declare everyday Halloween🎃Season.
