A Clean and Pure Conscience

What does freedom mean to you?

Freedom means the God given—inalienable—right of ·self-governance [i.e., self control; self discipline; autodidactic; sovereignty] which Saint Paul discusses at length in chapter two of His letter to the Romans; and I shall provide a brief excerpt of here:

Romans 2:13-16

English Standard Version

13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 For when ·Gentiles [autodidacts], who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though ·they do not have the law [are autodidacts]. 15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them 16 on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by ·Christ [the Way (medium, method, or instrument used to obtain a result or achieve an end): the Truth; and the Life Eternal].

We can now see more clearly that words really do have meaning!
