Do you vote in political elections?

Per U.S. Army colonel Douglas Abbott Macgregor, the two-party system of the Banana Republic of the U.S.A. is irrelevante, because neither Party represents the tax-paying citizens of the U.S.A. 💭 🤔

What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?

As a child growing up, my favorite season was always the autumn season marked by the turning of the tree leaves. That coupled with the macabre holiday decorations; which could only mean one thing for a child: the prospect of dressing up in cool looking costumes and going door-to-door in search of free candy. “Trick-or-treat!” 🦇 ☺

Back then, the autumn season was also marked by Harvest Days Celebrations and countless State & County Fairs. I always wished that these festivities would go on forever!

“Be careful what you wish for, boy!” is what they used to say to me as a child. “‘Cuz you might just get it!” . . . Even the phrase “get IT!” was quite noire in them days.

e.g., “You’ll ‘get IT’ just as soon as we get home, ¡Cabrón Chingao!” 😂

And, yes, it’s true that I was born in the fall, just not last fall! 🤣

However, seasons change; and so do we. Some of us even live long enough to reach maturity . . . but most of us do not!

We quickly discover that the popular English phrase “Love is love,” is a loaded phrase that can mean any number of definitions and/or interpretations.

The Spanish equivalent to the loaded English word love can produce any number of different/opposing translations expressing an entire range of emotions: ranging from one’s desire to possess someone else; or jealousy to erotica depending on its context. They might actually be able to catch more bees with a phrase like “Hate is hate!” instead.

This is the reason why when American politicians cheapen it with ever increasing frequency through their use of popular phrases like “Love is love!” The fuzz on the back of my neck immediately stands on end; alerting me to the possibility that we’re dealing with depraved individuals, on high.

Which brings us to the process of analyzing the meaning of the word dist•urbia which you may recall as the title to a popular song by the singer Rhianna:
